Could this scream 1995 a little louder?

On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I post a picture and just a few words.

Maybe if there were a few hearts added (in dusty rose, of course!)

Why do I even have this?

Well, it’s the innards of a Goodwill frame that I’m rehabbing.   The frame is gonna be fine, but you guys, I don’t think there’s any hope for the print or the blue mat.

(Totally saving the cream one, though, because that could come in handy.)

This may be a dumb idea, but could you spray paint the blue mat? or mod-podge fabric on it?

This has nothing to do with your mat but it is an idea I thought you might like and I didn't know how else to share it. As a child I had a kangaroo skirt. If you get one that is several inches too long just turn the bottom up on the the outside of the skirt and do some vertical stitching to make pockets all around the bottom of the skirt. I think your girls would love it as much as I did.

You could cover it in burlap or fabric. Guessing you can find a tutorial on Pinterest.
