Limeapple + Costco

Usually on Thursdays, I post just one picture. But today I have a bunch because there’s a time-sensitive something going on at Costco!

Limeapple Girls at Costco

Limeapple is a small company dedicated to making high-quality activewear for girls. Normally, their clothing is a fair bit more expensive than what you’d find at most stores.

BUT.

For a limited time, they have tank and capri sets at Costco for a special price.   On Limeapple, these cost $43, but at Costco, they’re only $18.99!

Since high-quality clothing is a high priority for me, and since this is a great way to save money on high-quality clothing,   I said yes when they offered to send me some samples.

And my girls were very pleased to try them out.

(They feel that perks like these are a fabulous part of having a blogging mom. )

We tried them out at the park, and they are playground approved.

Lisey was mostly excited about her Limeapple set because she felt these would be perfect for stretching.

(We have to do stretches at our martial arts class, and Lisey faithfully stretches at home, trying to fight against the stiffness that comes with growing quickly!)

She gives these a big thumbs up on the stretchiness front, and so do the other girls.

How’s the quality?

The fabric is great (no see-through thin stuff!), the construction is solid, and the seams are smooth and non-chafing.   Also, the waistband is a sturdily built no-roll style, and the tops are all lined in the upper half.

Plus, there’s a little hidden pocket in each set (in the waistband on the smaller sizes, in the shirt in Lisey’s size.)

The girls all said, “Mom, you should give these a good review!”   So, there ya go.

There are four difference color combos available at Costco and they’re available in sizes 6-14.

Just an FYI about fit: I’d say these run just slightly on the large/long side.

Zoe and Sonia normally wear 8 and 10, respectively, and they both have some growing room in the Limeapple 8 and 10.   So, if your girl is on the smaller end of a size, you may want to go down a size.

These Limeapple sets are available on Costco.com and also at Costco stores, but only for a few more weeks, so if your girls are in need of some stretchy new duds, get ’em before they’re sold out.

(Limeapple sent me three activewear sets, but this post was not sponsored in any other way.   All opinions are my own, and I really do think this is a great deal!)

P.S. Here are my ten favorite things to buy at Costco.

I love the selection that Costco gets, I bought a lime green jacket there last year and every time I wear it I get complements on it. Nice quality for the price. Love the color combos on the Limeware.

Yes. I think that in the time between my own childhood and now, it's gotten a lot harder to find well-made clothes for kids (and adults too, but that's another topic.) So much of what's available in the stores seems to be impractical and shoddily constructed (Except for jeans. Jeans are still good!) It makes shopping so frustrating.
