The Advent Conspiracy

My husband showed this video to me last week, and I thought it was worth sharing. It’s slightly off-topic for my blog, but in a way it’s related. A lot of being frugal is learning to not value unnecessary stuff so highly…and when you learn to live with that new set of values, you are often able to give to others who have much more important needs, like clean water.

The video is put out by Christians, but I think that even those of you who aren’t religious will find inspiration in the message…buy less stuff, give more time, and give some of the money you saved to people who really need it.

I love the Advent Conspiracy. They have a series of podcasts out this year which are really good.

I don't think you are looking for a job or anything Kristen, but I came across this freelance blogging position for Seventh Generation and thought of you. If you are interested, cool. If not, sorry for bugging you.
