Could I have your input on something?

I don’t think I can create an honest-to-goodness poll on wordpress because I haven’t switched over to my own hosted site yet. So, if you could leave a comment with your opinion on the dilemma I’m about to present, I’d be so grateful!

I have a baking blog over on Blogger. Blogging recipes is a lot of work, I’ve found, and so I don’t keep that one updated all that well. Even one recipe a week is sometimes more than I can manage, and that’s not exactly going to make for a bumpin’ blog. I know quality counts over quantity, but still.

I considered giving up the whole baking blog, but it seems like people have been finding the recipes there to be really helpful, and I’m happy to be able to serve other people in this way. So, my latest idea is to making baking a weekly feature on this blog. It would be something similar to my brownie post . It wouldn’t be terribly off-topic, since most baking ends up being a decently frugal activity, and I think doing it as a weekly feature here would help me to get around to posting my baking recipes more faithfully. Plus, that would just make me a less distracted blogger…I’d have this one as my main blog, and then the only other one would be my photography blog(I feel no pressure there to blog regularly, and it’s a lot less work anyways). I promise I won’t try to roll that one into this blog, though!

So, whaddya think? Would you find it really off-putting to be hit with a baking recipe or tip every week when you really come here for frugal stuff? Or would you find it to be a helpful addition to the usual Frugal Girl fare? Whatever your thoughts, I’d love to hear them.
