Happily, I have nothing to share this week. That might ordinarily give me a big head, but considering how much food I threw out last week, it’s going to take a lot more than that to puff me up about my food wasting habits!
I want to give a little shout out to Angela, who blogs at My Year Without Spending. She’s been working on reducing her waste, and her “Eat Me!” shelf idea earned her a mention on Jonathan Bloom’s Wasted Food blog.(Angela, as soon as I saw the “Eat Me!” title on the feed from the Wasted Food blog, I knew he had to be writing about you!). Go check her out. 🙂
I know I was late updating my food waste blogroll last week…however, I just added all of you newbies that participated last week, and I promise to be more on top of things this week.

Wahee - well done you! I'm all set to join in this week; I was away last week hence my lack of participation :)
I take it I link up the URL once the post is live on my site? Hopefully that will be Friday morning. Looking forward to it and well done everyone else on reducing your food waste :)

So I quit for a while, gotta admit I was getting discouraged because it was like no food waste from you and stacey and maybe a couple of others then me with LOTS of waste. Thanks for the encouragement post and for the blog roll, now there are all kinds of peeps showing their "dirty secret" food waste pictures!

Hooray for Angela! Thanks so much for letting us know that she was featured at Wasted Food. Very cool. And like you, Kristen, I had a no waste week after a not so stellar one last week. Hooray for us!

Kristen- Thanks for the shout out. It was fun getting the idea mentioned on Jonathan's blog. I must admit I think it works mainly because my husband responds well to it. I don't think I would have ever thought of it if I lived alone, I'd just put the food that needed to be eaten near the front of the refrigerator and know it was there. The combination of Jonathan's blog and your friday photos is what inspired me to waste less, so thanks!

I'm envious...we didn't do very well this week.
Thanks for hosting!
