Grocery Spending/Menu Plan | Father’s Day week

I spent $41.78 at Aldi and $39.22 at Weis, so I’m at $81.00 even for the week. Yay!

Aldi groceries arranged on a wood floor.

For breakfast, we’ll be eating homemade granola, homemade yogurt,, fruit, scrambled eggs, and cereal.

Lunches will be yogurt smoothies, fruit, nuts, sandwiches, and leftovers as necessary.

Saturday

  • Pizza Bagels
  • green salad

Sunday (It’s Father’s Day, so we’re not doing breakfast for dinner!)

  • Crab Cakes
  • homemade rolls
  • corn on the cob
  • fresh pineapple
  • Cherry Cheesecake

Monday

  • Chicken Tacos
  • Spinach Salad

Tuesday

Wednesday

Thursday

Friday

  • I think we might try to do some sort of date night…either an eat-at-home-without-the-kids date or an actual going-out date.

Oh Kristen! I LOVE seeing these updates about date nights. Seems to me that they're happening more often and that's a wonderful thing :) Enjoy the time with your husband! (and those crab cakes... because they sound delish :D). Cheesecake and me aren't BFFs... I prefer chocolate cake. ;)

I love your grocery, lots of fresh produce, unlike a lot of other heavy coupon users who mainly buy processed food and then brag about their "huge" savings on grocery.

Do you have a favorite crab cake recipe? I'm sure my husband would appreciate it if you did! Thanks :)
