I’ve never had a three-year-old as my youngest kid before, and my goodness. I really, really love it. I adored my babies, of course, but there are some very nice things about not having babies anymore.
For instance, mini-golfing is much more enjoyable. Everyone can walk and hold their own clubs (no stroller!).
And though it takes Sonia about 15 putts to get her ball in the hole.
and Zoe uses the sweeping method to deposit her ball in the cup,
(actually, sometimes she just uses her hands to drop the ball in!)
all six of us had a fun time. No one had to push a stroller, no one melted down halfway through the course, and no one had to try to golf while holding a fussy baby.
Life is good. 🙂

Wow! You are echoing my thoughts! We have 5 and our youngest is now 2 and it is so nice! I don't remember enjoying this stage before, and now it is joy to have 5 children that i don't have to worry about spitting up on me :) Lovin it. Can't wait until I have a 3 as my youngest, too.

Engineer Mom-yes! Things do indeed get easier with time...I promise! lol I always though 12-18 months was sort of a hard time to go out and do things with my kids. Hang in there! :)

You give me hope! ;-) Right now, we only have the one, but he's 15 months old, and it's hard to do much of anything except take him somewhere he can just cruise around, like the library, mall indoor play areas, etc.
