Don’t worry…these are some of the outtakes, which happened because of Joshua’s click-click-click-click-click-click method of photography. He’s always catching me when I’m not quite ready!
We did manage to get a photo or two where I look halfway normal. 😉 But if you want to see those (plus a winter outfit with this skirt), you’ll have to click on over to today’s Thrifty Threads post on Angela Barton’s blog.
Thrifty Threads, which is a feature where Angela’s readers show off their second-hand clothing purchases, runs weekly, so if you have some snazzy Goodwill duds that you’d like to share with the world, take a photo and send it on over to Angela!
P.S. Doesn’t it look delightfully warm in those outtake photos? We took them back in July, I think…in these days of cold winds and bare trees, they’re a nice reminder that the world will once again be warm and green.

I really, really like your skirt in the photo! Skirts and flip flops are my choice of summer apparel, too. Especially, when I can find them at the thrift store for a couple of dollars! You can't sew them yourself for that price.

Yup, that's what I wear most of the summer. I hardly ever wear skirts in the wintertime because of the cold, but they're GREAT for summer. I think they're way more comfy than shorts, actually.

Wow nice outfit. It looks good on you. I need to do some more hunting. I have not had any luck lately.

Love the outfit! Our local thrift store has a great deal on Mondays where items with a certain color price tag are only .50. It's spoiled me in that I have trouble spending even $2 or $3 on an item anymore!
