How to Make Delicious Pfeffernusse

These small cookies, known as Peppernuts in English, are infused with a blend of various spices. However, the dominant taste is derived from the anise extract, which my children absolutely love.

Ingredients

– Sugar – Butter – White corn syrup – Milk – Anise extract – Vanilla extract

Instructions

First, cream butter and sugar together.

Add milk, corn syrup, vanilla extract, almond extract, and anise extract.

In a separate bowl, mix the flour and spices together.
