How to make DIY instant microwave oatmeal for one

A super quick, super cheap alternative to oatmeal packets!

Ingredients

– 1/3 cup old-fashioned rolled oats – pinch salt – 3/4 cup water – pinch cinnamon – sugar, maple syrup, honey to taste

Instructions

Combine all ingredients in a microwave-safe bowl (larger than you think you need!) and microwave for 2.5 minutes.

Stir, add desired toppings, and serve.

Topping Ideas: -dried fruit -jam -fresh fruit -cream or milk
