Two-Tone Bread

Today's baking recipe is both novel and fun. While the loaves it produces may appear ordinary on the outside, the inside is anything but ordinary.

Ingredients

– All purpose – Active dry yeast – Milk – Sugar – Shortening – Whole-wheat flour

Instructions

In a large mixer bowl, combine 3 cups of the all-purpose flour and the yeast.

Heat milk, sugar, butter, and salt to 115-120 ° F. Add warm liquids to dry ingredients and beat for 3 minutes.
